Congratulations to Leah Cook, Executive Assistant, on graduating America’s Credit Unions (ACU) Management School!

ACU Management School is an executive level education program led by the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business. This is a three-year program which demonstrates the highest level of aptitude in credit union leadership. The course, which is onsite for two weeks each summer, includes exams, projects, and a presentation.

“Having the opportunity to attend America’s Credit Unions Management School for the past three years has been such an incredible journey in my career,” says Leah Cook, Executive Assistant at Limestone FCU. “I am grateful for the opportunity Limestone FCU has given me to earn my CCUE, Certified Credit Union Executive designation.”

“Through on-site classes, exams, projects, and presentations, this experience has pushed me to grow both personally and professionally. It has allowed me to network with other credit union professionals across the country, all sharing the same goal: to make a difference in the credit union industry.

I am proud to be part of an institution that values education, leadership, and continued growth, and I look forward to applying what I’ve learned back into the organization.”

Watson, Alyssa Swanson, Victoria Hewitt, Sabrina Oshelski, and Jennifer Benedetto—each of whom has earned this prestigious designation. Over the past eight years, Leah has been a valued member of our team, contributing across a variety of departments including accounting, operations, frontline, and executive leadership support. Most recently, she has taken on the management of frontline operations, continuing to grow in her leadership role at Limestone FCU. Her extensive experience and unwavering dedication to the credit union made her a clear choice for this opportunity.

“As a 1996 graduate of America’s Credit Unions’ CUNA Management School, I know firsthand the level of discipline and personal investment it takes to complete this program. It’s a rigorous, three-year journey that requires participants to commit hundreds of hours to study, project work, and professional development, both inside and outside the classroom.

We are incredibly proud of Leah for her commitment not only to her own growth but also to the credit union philosophy of ‘people helping people.’ Her successful completion of the program is a testament to her strong work ethic, leadership potential, and passion for serving our members and community.

This accomplishment positions Leah for future advancement within our organization, and we are truly fortunate to have her as part of our team. We look forward to the continued impact she will make in the years ahead.”
