Our Classic VISA Credit Card offers credit limits of up to $5,000, depending on creditworthiness and other qualifying factors. All LFCU members — including those with lower credit scores — are eligible to apply for the Classic VISA. (Visit the Rates tab for the most up-to-date interest rate information.)
For members with a credit score of 700 or higher, the Platinum VISA Credit Card is available, featuring limits up to $15,000 and a lower interest rate than the Classic VISA. (See the Rates tab for details on current interest rates.)
You can make a payment in three different ways! Transfer funds using the LFCU Mobile App or Online Banking, or give us a call at 906-341-5866 and we’ll process your payment over the phone.
Credit card payments are due by the 28th of each month.
Yes, you can schedule payment transfers using the LFCU Mobile App or Online Banking.
Mobile App:
Log in to your account, select the Move Money tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap Schedule a Transfer at the top. Follow the prompts to set up your transfer.
Online Banking:
Log in to your account through the Online Banking portal. Under Money Management on the left-hand side, click Schedule Transfer and follow the prompts.
If you plan to use your card while traveling, please call us at 906-341-5866 and provide your travel dates to avoid any disruptions.
If your card is lost or stolen, call VISA immediately at 800-991-4961.

Not immediately. You’ll receive the updated card design automatically when your existing card reaches its expiration date.

Yes, all newly issued credit cards after August 1, 2025, will be mailed with the updated design.

No, the updated card design will not impact your online banking account in any way.

No, the new card design will not impact your rewards program. You’ll continue to earn and access your rewards just as you do now, with no changes to your account or redemption process.

You can insert the EMV chip or swipe the magnetic stripe, just as you would with your previous card. Online purchases will also work the same way as before.

Both the card and the terminal will have the contactless symbol noted.

Contactless payment availability may vary based on the terminal’s capabilities, merchant preferences, transaction location, or purchase amount. In some cases, you may also be asked to provide your signature or enter your PIN.

Yes. You can still use your card to get cash, check your balance and more.

Use your dual interface EMV chip card at the same places you do now. Tap or insert your card at EMV enabled terminals or swipe your card at terminals that have not yet switched. You can use your card as you did before for online payments, telephone payments and at ATMs/ITMs.
