Money Masters Scholarship Program Returns to LSSU for 2026

Limestone FCU Continues Partnership with FHLBank Indianapolis to Launch Second Year of Three-Year Money Masters Scholarship Program for First-Generation College Freshmen at Lake Superior State University

Limestone Financial Credit Union (Limestone FCU) is excited to partner with FHLBank Indianapolis to bring the Money Masters Scholarship Program to first-generation college freshmen at Lake Superior State University (LSSU). Now entering the second year of a three-year grant initiative, Limestone FCU is proud to continue its commitment to supporting students through financial literacy education and scholarship opportunities.

As a credit union selected by FHLBank Indianapolis to administer the Money Masters Scholarship Program, Limestone FCU is proud to pair this scholarship opportunity with its own financial literacy initiatives to help eligible students succeed throughout their educational journey at LSSU. Through the program, participants can earn a $1,000 scholarship while building essential money management skills and establishing a relationship with their local credit union.

Through this partnership, students gain more than just a scholarship. They participate in guided financial education and build critical money management skills through the Adulting 101 course. By combining scholarship funding with hands-on learning, the program empowers students to build a strong financial foundation for the future.

“At Limestone Financial Credit Union, we believe financial education is one of the greatest investments we can make in our community. The Money Masters Scholarship Program gives first-generation students not only financial support, but also the knowledge and confidence to make informed financial decisions throughout college and beyond. We’re proud to partner with FHLBank Indianapolis to help students build a strong foundation for lifelong financial success.”
