Cybersecurity Awareness
In an effort to increase our cybersecurity initiatives, Limestone FCU is proud to join this national effort to promote online safety and proactive digital protection through the Securing the Next 250 campaign. Led by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), this initiative recognizes the nation’s 250th anniversary and focuses on building a secure digital future for America’s next era.
Teach Others to Avoid Phishing Scams
Keep an eye out for phishing and other scam attempts in your emails, texts, direct messages or phone calls. Always verify the sender before clicking links or downloading attachments. If you spot a scam, report it!

Use Strong Passwords
Using strong passwords and a password manager you trust is a great way to stay safe online and protect your data.
- Use long passwords, at least 16 characters.
- Use a random string of mixed-case letters, numbers, and symbols, like: Yuc8$RikA34%ZoPPao98t
- Never reuse passwords.
- Keep your passwords safe by using a PASSWORD MANAGER!

Protect Yourself from Fraud
Fraud is on the rise, and safeguarding your financial information has never been more important. Fraudsters use various tactics, from skimming devices to phishing scams, to steal card details and make unauthorized transactions.
Multifactor Authentication
Multifactor authentication (MFA) provides an extra layer of security for your accounts. Choose the most secure MFA method available. A physical security key provides the best protection and is easy to use.
